About Treeline

Treeline history started in 2011 thanks to the funding of ABIOGEN project from Nouvelle Aquitaine region. This first step allowed to monitored for the first time two forest tree genetic trials for maritime pine in Bordeaux-Cestas and eucalyptus in The republic of the Congo.

A second funding in 2017 from COTE Labex guaranteed the construction of the first database “Pineline” which stores the individual data from Pinus pinaster trees (reference article)

A third funding in the framework of the B4EST Project (H2020) allowed the monitoring of additional eucalyptus (Eucalyptus spp) thanks to a collaboration with a private company ALTRI Florestal (Portugal).
